Itinerary

Kedarnath & Badrinath – Ex Haridwar


Day 01: Haridwar – Phata / Guptkashi / Sitapur

Distance: 200 km | Travel Time: Approx. 8 hours

Your journey begins with pickup from Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun Airport. Drive towards Phata, enjoying scenic views en route. Visit Dhari Devi Temple and the sacred confluence at Devprayag on the way.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay: Phata / Guptkashi / Sitapur


Day 02: Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Early morning drive to Sonprayag (vehicle access permitted till here). From Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund (5 km; payable directly).

From Gaurikund, begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple. The trek is long yet scenic. Options for pony, doli, or helicopter services are available at an additional cost.

On arrival, perform Darshan and Pooja at Shri Kedarnath Temple.
Check in at GMVN Bhawan / Dormitory, located within 100–500 meters of the temple.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi

Early morning check out and trek down to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, take a local jeep to Sonprayag, then drive back to Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay: Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi


Day 04: Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi – Badrinath

Distance: 210 km | Travel Time: Approx. 8–9 hours

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, en route visiting the beautiful hill station Chopta.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, attend Aarti at Shri Badrinath Temple (subject to time).

Day 05: Badrinath – Pipalkoti / Karanprayag

Early morning bath in Tapt Kund, followed by Darshan at Shri Badrinath Temple. Visit Brahma Kapal, an important site for ancestral rituals.

Local sightseeing includes Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund, and the origin of the Saraswati River, all located within 3 km of Badrinath.

Later, drive towards Pipalkoti / Karanprayag, visiting the sacred Panch Prayag en route.
Overnight stay: Pipalkoti / Karanprayag


Day 06: Pipalkoti / Karanprayag – Haridwar

Distance: 105 km | Travel Time: Approx. 6 hours

After breakfast, check out and drive to Haridwar. En route, visit Maa Dhari Devi Temple, Devprayag, and Rishikesh.
Drop at Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun Airport or Railway Station as per your departure schedule.
